Improving Digital Encoded Audio Skills

The goal of I.D.E.A.S. is professional live-streaming training for sound engineers.The project was born through the co-creation between three countries to build the basis of a course to share the fundamentals of audio-video streaming. On the Content Drops page you will find the material divided into modules and in four languages. While the main focuses have also been developed with videos, which you will find in Video Drops.

Our Erasmus Plus project was developed as a result of discussions among the partners during the pandemic: we all work in the music industry and have personally encountered and experienced the difficulties of this sector during the pandemic crisis.
We started by thinking about how a concert or a music event could be live streamed in the most pleasant way, what is the best way to provide an image and sound as similar as possible to a live experience?

Then we asked ourselves: how many professionals are able to do this? How many sound engineers are able to do both live and live streaming, how many lost their jobs or had to retrain to another profession during and after Covid-19, and how many of them, with training, could specialise in live streaming?
